Here you will find information about my activities and my interests, as well as various events in these areas.
After Montreal in Canada in April 2016 and Perth in Australia from 3 to 7 April 2017, for the first time in its history the World Wide Web Conference came back in a place it has already visited.
After WWW2012, the Université de Lyon had the honor and the pleasure to organize again this conference for its 27th edition, TheWebConf 2018 in Lyon from 23 to 27 April 2018.
This event has been co-organized in partnership with the Métropole de Lyon, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region and Digital League, in collaboration with all regional stakeholders in the digital domain.
After TheWebConf 2019 that has been held from 13th to 17th of May 2019 in San Francisco, the following edition of this conference took take place from 20th to 24th of April 2020 in Taipei.
Due to the Covid-19, an innovative system has been set up so that attendees were able to present and/or participate remotely.
TheWebConf 2021 was organized by Ljubljana in Slovenia from April 19 to 23 and was held via a video conference system.
The Lyon team once again organized the 31st edition of the conference series, TheWebConf 2022, which took place by videoconference.
These conferences are now under the authority of ACM/SIGWEB and, after the 2023 edition TheWebConf 2023 that took place from 30 April to 4 May in Austin – Texas – USA, the 2024 edition TheWebConf 2024 will be held from 13 to 17 May 2024 in Singapore.
The International World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2), which was previously responsible for the supervision of the conference cycle, has changed its mission and is now managing funds to reward distinguished scientific publications in the Web domain.
